The second leg of the Champions League 1/8 finals saw a match as Borussia Dortmund hosted PSV Eindhoven. In the first half, Matsson’s shot was parried, Manchester United outcast Sancho scored with a long-range shot, Phil Kruger’s low shot was deflected, and Brandt’s shot was deflected by the goalkeeper. In the second half, Mallon’s low shot was confiscated, Lozano’s long shot hit the post, Bakayoko’s shot was parried, Fellkrug’s goal was blown away, and in the last minute, Royce scored. In the end, Dortmund beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 to advance with a 3-1 aggregate score. Dortmund won 3 consecutive matches in all competitions.

Shortly after the game started, Dortmund had a very good chance. In the 38th minute, Mallon faced a defender on the right side of the penalty area, forced an angle, and fired a shot to the near corner, but the kick was deflected. At half time, Dortmund led Eindhoven 1-0.

The second half resumed with Eindhoven making the first substitution. Lozano came on for Till. In the 47th minute, Mallon got the ball in the box and turned to shoot low, the goalkeeper fell down and confiscated the ball. 6 minutes later, Eindhoven almost scored. Lozano took a shot from long range that hit the post and bounced out, too bad. Dortmund escaped with a goal. In the 58th minute, Dortmund made their first change, with Nmega coming on for Brandt, and six minutes later, Mallon played a cross in from the right, which was met by a completely wide-open Phil Kruger, whose header from close range was well saved by the keeper.

Dortmund made a substitution in the 70th minute when Adeyemi came on for Mallon. Bakayoko turns and fires a shot which the keeper parries away. Dortmund escaped with a goal. Sancho then got injured and couldn’t hold on and was substituted. In the 76th minute, Phil Kruger scored with a low shot. However, the goal was disallowed because of offside. In the last minute, Royce also scored. In the end, Dortmund beat Eindhoven 2-0. As the first leg was played to a 1-1 draw. Therefore, Dortmund advanced to the last 8 with a total score of 3-1.
